It is a lovely morning with thin misty rain and temperature below 20 C. I thought it was time for a special breakfast just to celebrate the end of the heat wave. Yes, this is right, I rather have a moderately warm summer than temperatures around 30.
French toast for two
4 slices of French bread
1 free range egg
dash of cinnamon
1 dl milk (whichever type you have in the fridge
1 tbsp butter
1-2 dl fresh or frozen berries, mixed in a blender
Mix the milk, egg and cinnamon. Soak the bread slices in the mixture until they are soft. Heat a pan and cook the bread until golden brown.
Decorate with sugar, serve with berry sauce and enjoy!
