Spaghetti con pancetta affumicata e fagiolini

Have been ill and stranded at home this week. Not nice. My husband has been doing the groceries and storing the house with chocolate since one always has to be pampered with chocolate once ill. The only problem has been that it hasn’t tasted at all, more appetite. Not until today. Must be getting well!

My stomach was rumbling and started digging in the fridge. Smoked bacon and beans became spaghetti con pancetta affumicato con fagiolini.

300 g spaghetti
150 g pancetta, bacon
200 g beans (haricot verts)
Salt, pepper and Parmesan

Cook the pasta and the beans al dente. Dice the meat and fry in a pan. Turn in the cooked pasta and beans. Add some pepper and grated Parmesan.

A bit on the greasy side but otherwise perfect on a cold and rainy day. It’s getting dark and Halloween is here!
