Whats’s cooking?

Dear Readers
I’ve just realised that it is over a month since my last post. I cannot believe it. I’ve been cooking but the past month has been extra busy.

We took a short holiday in Italy in early May and after that it’s been work work work – real work as the spring term is ending and lots of work in the garden. There will be posts about the trip – Turin and Piedmonte, Royal City and wine country. Truffles too.

I find myself exploring the lunch restaurants and some others near by and in Helsinki. When cooking I go for recent favourites like lamb, entrecôte with vegetables, pizzaladiere, pollo Limonello and almost any sort of pasta dish.

May was incredibly hot until Tuesday this week. A sudden drop from 29 to 7 degrees. The garden is blooming and everything is growing so fast almost in the eyes, as one is watching it.
